POSA staking and block production rules | Validator&Delegator
Validator Qualifications
A stake of 200,000 IUM is required to become a legal block producer.
The pledge period is 10 years.
There is no penalty for withdrawal after 10 years, but a 50% penalty will be deducted for early withdrawal.
Delegator Staking Rules
Each Validator corresponds to a staking pool.
Delegators can pledge to Validators, 10IUM = 1 vote.
The validator itself needs to have a basic stake (200,000 IUM), and the delegator's stake increases its weight.
Block production logic
Validator submits the random number in sequence: commit > reveal.
A validator is randomly selected to generate a block.
A Delegator from the Validator staking pool is randomly selected and given a lucky staking reward.
Reward Distribution
20% > Lucky Staking Reward (Random Delegator)
10% > Block Validator
70% > Delegator Reward Pool,
20% of the total amount will be allocated based on the stake weight of the delegators in each validator pool, and 80% will be allocated based on the stake weight of the delegators across the entire network.
Exit mechanism
The client needs to wait one month for the pledge to be unlocked.
Validator staking also follows a 5-year cycle, and a 50% penalty will be deducted for early withdrawal
